Beautiful Chardon Square is located at Routes 44 and 6 in Geauga County, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Chardon Square Association, Inc. was established in 1980 as a not for profit corporation for the purpose of improving and advancing the interests of the business community and it's aesthetic appearance in and about the area of historic Chardon Square.
Downtown Chardon welcomes visitors with a charming collection of restaurants, antique and gift shops, knit shop, quilt shop, and tea room.
Chardon Square offers year round family friendly activities on the green, which is located in the center of the Square.
Musical entertainment with free Friday night Concerts, and a Farmer's Market on Fridays, continue to be a wonderful night out on Chardon Square during the summer. Flea Market, Old Glory Day, Arts Festival, and KidsFest keep the summer activities quite exciting for all ages.
A Fall Fest hosted by the City, and a Halloween children's parade are fun events for the fall.
Christmas is a special time on the Square. Main Street and the Park are decorated for the holiday with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, complete with musical entertainment and a special visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus. The Tree Lighting is held each year on the first Thursday after Thanksgiving.
