Nurseries and garden centers invite you to their seasonal affairs, harvest festivals and instructive workshops. Every spring, the tradition of making maple syrup is celebrated at the Geauga County Maple Festival. From Maple Stirs to carnival rides, this street fair is a family favorite.
The first weekend of August, Geauga Park District hosts the Nature Arts Festival to coincide with the annual Chardon Arts Festival. Both feature local and regional artists.
Enjoy live theater by the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild, as they perform six or more productions each year and also provide workshops for children. On the weekends when there is no live production, this historic theater on Chardon Square presents current feature films.
Find FREE outdoor musical entertainment in the summer months during the Friday night “Concerts in the Park” on Chardon Square, and bi-weekly Saturday evening performances in the Frances Hall Amphitheater in Big Creek Park.
