After all we are the heart of the "snowbelt" And not only do we need snow for some of our favorite winter activities like Sleigh Rides at Ma & Pa's and Chardon's WinterFest but it also sets the stage for all of the sweet Maple Sugaring activities that we look forward to! In the meantime... you can take advantage of a couple of really 'sweet' stops to make your Valentines Day special! Be sure to visit our friends at Buckeye Chocolates, White House Chocolates, and Sunrise Farm for some tasty treats! A romantic dinner for two or a cozy get-away weekend at Red Maple Inn, Punderson Manor Lodge, Bass Lake Inn & Taverne or The Club at Hillbrook all offer great options. Don't forget, whether or not it snows... you have until February 29 to visit "Snowbelted: Winter's a Blast" Exhibit at Geauga Park District's The West Woods, a great place for kids of all ages to learn about our snowy history!
