Summer’s last Adventures

There’s only a few weeks of summer left before the kids head back to school, and you’re probably questioning if it’s too late for one last adventure, right? Well the good news is the answer is – no! With all of these activities and great ideas it might just be your best summer yet!

Host a summer BBQ with all of your favorite people. It’s always a great time to get together and enjoy good food and company. Geauga Farms Country Meats has the best meats in the county, and Bargain Bin and B&K Salvage have all of you condiment and tableware needs covered at great prices! This time of year getting in our fresh fruits and veggie is a snap with an abundance of local produce at our local farms like Patterson Fruit Farm, Ridgeview Farm, Sage’s Apples, or Sunrise Farm. Did you know that Sirna’s Farm & Market not only has great produce they also have the largest selection of Ohio wines of any farm market in the state. You can also just visit Chardon Farmer’s Market on Friday evening and Geauga Fresh Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning for great shopping!

If all of that sounds a little overwhelming, give a call to Cater 4 U, they will pack you a wonderful picnic basket of goodness for your family or prepare a full on party for a large group! Or just choose from one of our great local dining locations.

Summer is also the perfect time to pull up a blanket or lawn chair & listen to the music you love at The Geauga Parks District or discover a new favorite at the Raccoon County Music Festival on Aug 16 at Century Village Museum. Have you ever taken a tour of the grounds of Century Village?

Are you going to the Great Geauga County Fair or the Zucchini Festival??? Who can resist animals, live music, carnival rides, and funnel cakes?
