Savor the Sweetness of a Visit To Geauga County!
The sun warms, the snow melts, the sap flows and Geauga County becomes the sweetest place in Northeast Ohio to visit!
Every March Maple Sugaring season kicks into high gear and the steam can be seen for miles as area sugarhouses ‘cook’ long hours to turn all of that free flowing sap into 100% pure Geauga County Maple Syrup. During this time many sugarhouses open to the public for tours or to give visitors the opportunity to lend a hand, each location offers a unique experience.
Many local groups offer Pancake Breakfasts as a way to bring in visitors and raise funds for their organization. These all-you-can-eat extravaganzas are the perfect way to showcase the fresh Geauga County Maple Syrup.
There is so much more to see, eat and do. Click on the Maple Highlights tile (to the right) for all the details!
